Self Made women teach to unleash their spark and hustle. They inspire readers to use what they have to get what they want on their path to becoming self-made. What does self-made mean? It's not only about getting money but where it starts is financial empowerment. This means moving out of the state of survival, where you are one issue away from the disaster. It means shifting your attitude from immediate gratification to orientation towards goals. Which means being able to sleep without worries at night. It means becoming wealthy in every way: money-rich, family-rich, love-rich, time-rich-abundant!
Although segregation of employment concentrates women in the lowest status and lowest paying workplace positions, women are disproportionately satisfied with their positions. This analysis measures the extent of women's commitment to work in Western industrial societies and considers it considerably lower than the commitment of men to work. Work participation is also found to be a strong indicator of women's job choices and career choices. Most women aim for a homemaker career in which paid work is of secondary or peripheral importance, with good husband support for this strategy. A minority of girls are committed to working as a central life goal, achieving jobs at higher levels of status and earnings. The actuality of those two discrete groups within the feminine workforce explains the paradox of women's high satisfaction with poor jobs and helps explain the grit of job segregation. We conclude that more refined and sociological indicators of workforce participation must be developed to exchange the quality measures employed by labor economists.
